Research Studentships
2 x PhD scholarships in Interdisciplinary Research
This interdisciplinary effort combines experimental with computational modelling approaches to explore the mechanisms of neurotransmitter release and synaptic plasticity, with a dual focus on health and pathological conditions including epilepsy, autism and neurodevelopmental disorders. The scholarships will cover tuition fees at the home rate and provide a stipend at current UKRI rate, offering a unique opportunity for aspiring researchers to contribute to cutting-edge work at the interface of computational science and neurobiology.
Successful candidates should have background in applied mathematics/theoretical physics/computer science or related discipline, alongside strong computational skills.
