PhD Studentships in Computer Science: Artificial Intelligence

Excellent candidates are invited to apply for a fully funded PhD studentship in Artificial Intelligence hosted in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Warwick. The deadline for applications is 21 June 2019.

There are multiple scholarships available that are open to international, EU, and UK students and cover full fees and a stipend payable at current UK Research Council rates.

Applications are welcome from all areas of Artificial Intelligence, and we particularly encourage applications in the areas of Multi-Agent Systems, Strategic Artificial Intelligence, Explainable AI, Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning, Intelligent Cyber-Physical Systems, Deep Learning for Imaging Data and Intelligent Connected Vehicles.

Candidates should have an excellent degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline, solid mathematical background, excellent programming skills and a desire to tackle real-world problems.

The Computer Science Department at Warwick is ranked 1st in the UK for scientific output and 2nd overall in the latest UK research excellence framework.
