Specialised facilities to conduct studies on weed ecology and management
Our facilities include:
- Over 6 hectares available annually for field vegetable and associated trials work (with irrigation).
- Micro-plots.
- Range of polytunnels and frames.
- Glasshouses (6m, 20m & 40m² compartments).
- Thermogradient tunnels provide large areas with a 4 °C differential from one end to the other, making them ideal for investigating crop responses to increased temperatures associated with climate change.
