Multiple DASAs awarded to support Warwick SDA research

Two Defence and Security Accelerator "Space to Innovate" contracts have been awarded to teams involving Warwick CSDA members.

  1. ACC6006677: GEOMON - Awarded to Harwell Associates Ltd, in partnership with the University of Warwick. This project will aim to conceptualise and design a low-cost, wide-field and sensitive system to survey the geosynchronous region. CSDA members Don Pollacco, Paul Chote and James Blake will be contributing to GEOMON research outputs.
  2. ACC6007939: Development of a multi-band optical & infra-red sensor for characterisation of objects in low-Earth orbit - Awarded to the University of Warwick. CSDA member Richard West will be leading this project, which aims to design, build and test a multi-band sensor to observe and characterise objects in the low Earth orbit region.
