The mystery of the missing tetraquark
The LHCb collaboration has searched for signals of a new particle, recently claimed by the D0 collaboration. Finding no signal, limits are set which are apparently at odds with the D0 claim.
Physics Department Teaching Award
Dr Neil Wilson was the recipient of the 2015-16 Physics Department Teaching Award as voted for by students. He was presented with the award by David Leadley, Head of Department on 11th October 2016. His name has been added to the list of prize-winners on the new board on the Physics Concourse.

Physics scientists submit evidence to House of Commons Select Commmitte on Leaving EU
The contribution of Warwick academics Steven Brown, Ray Dupree, John Hanna, Dinu Iuga and Józef Lewandowski to the House of Commons Science and Technology Select Committee Inquiry into Leaving the EU has been published on the Parliament website. Steven Brown made the submission on behalf of over 20 UK scientists associated with the Warwick-hosted EPSRC-funded UK 850 MHz Solid-State NMR Facility.
