Professor Terence Hogarth, IER’s skills expert, delivered a range of presentations to key EU stakeholders
During the Cedefop/ German Federal Institute for Vocational Training (BIBB) seminar on the Future of Vocational Education and Training (VET) on 8th and 9th September in Bonn, he made a presentation on the institutional factors shaping VET provision.
At the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation’s (DG RTD) ‘Promoting education, training and skills across the bioeconomy’ conference on 15th September in Brussels he presented on future skill needs in the EU’s bioeconomy.
He moderated a session at the European Training Foundation’s (EFT) webinar on ‘New forms of work and platform economy in developing and transition countries’ on 7th November. This programme of work is part of the ETF’s Skills Lab Initiative.
At the annual conference of the Government Directors of Immigration Services (GDISC), held on 10th November in Dublin, he delivered a presentation on meeting the future demand for skills in the EU.
