Longer-Term Working Lives of UKAF Women Veterans
Screening Survey
What is the study about?
The longer-term working lives of UK Armed Forces (UKAF) women veterans have been under-researched, including the identification of reasons why women veterans are less likely to be employed than their male counterparts. This study aims to explore experiences of women veterans in the civilian workplace and to understand why women veterans do not enter employment and what other roles they might engage in such as furthering or continuing education, volunteering, homemaking, or being retired. The study will identify factors that impact upon women veterans longer term working lives, determine the utility of the Career Transition Partnership to women veterans and define what success means to them.
I would like to invite you to take part in an interview online. This survey will determine if volunteers for this study are eligible to take part in an interview and will assist the researcher in selecting participants. I hope to interview a broad range of Rates and Ranks across all 3 Services therefore not all those that volunteer will be asked for interview. Whether or not you are asked for an interview your participation in this survey is very much appreciated.
Further information regarding the study is available in the participant information leaflet (please click here to access the leaflet).
