A new study led by the University of Warwick raises concerns that employment and career development opportunities for young people are becoming polarised between those with the resources to access secure, fulfilling employment and those on the path to precarious and unpredictable working lives with poor prospects.

University of Warwick Senate and Council appoints Baroness Ashton as Warwick’s first ever woman Chancellor

The Senate and Council of the University of Warwick have agreed to appoint The Rt Hon. The Baroness Ashton of Upholland GCMG PC as the University of Warwick’s new Chancellor, succeeding Sir Richard Lambert who concluded his time as Warwick’s Chancellor at the end of the 2015-16 academic year. Lady Ashton will take up the role with effect from the 1st of January 2017, when she will become the first ever female Chancellor of the University of Warwick.
