New Funding Call Launched - Connecting cultures through co-production
Connecting Cultures GRP are pleased to announce that new funding is available for research which is co-designed and co-produced between Warwick researchers and community groups or cultural organisations. These groups/organisations can be anywhere in the world, and do not need to be Coventry based.
Up to £1,500 is available (and smaller bids are encouraged) for strategic projects that:
- Have a strong and demonstrable element of co-design and co-production, working in dialogue with local community or public sector groups or representatives around cultural themes and concerns.
- Will deliver tangible benefits to these groups: this benefit might be social, economic and/or cultural.
If relevant to the project, it would be great if projects and their outcomes are able to be showcased at Coventry City of Culture roadshow under the theme of ‘Words and Voices’ in September 2021. Please indicate in your proposal if this is likely to be the case. For more information on the roadshows please click here

New funding call launched that focusses on Recovery & Transformation of Coventry
Warwick's City of Culture Team have launched a new funding call - 'Recovery & Transformation: Coventry City of Culture'. The call seeks short proposals that aim to develop impact and facilitate knowledge exchange with non-academic stakeholders (local organisations, partners, the cultural sector or local communities) to deliver tangible benefits focusing on the themes of recovery and transformation.
Coventry, like the rest of the world, faces challenges resulting from, and exacerbated by, the impacts of the pandemic. This may be in areas such as job security, physical and mental health, crime, food security, air quality, housing etc.
The call closes Friday 19th February 12 noon.
