How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Call workshop for “UKRI Develop basic technologies in sensing and imaging call”

This workshop aims to bring academics with different expertise from various disciplines together to seed strong bids for this highly interdisciplinary call (Please be aware of that this opportunity intends to support small and short ‘high risk and high reward’ interdisciplinary pilot studies directed towards the development of basic, underpinning technology where little to no preliminary data exist. up to £225k, 6-18months).

This call requires two co-principal investigators from different research areas:

· One to be ‘problem owners’ who has a research problem that requires some novel technology development in order to overcome a major barrier to progress.

· The other to be technical ‘solution provider’ to develop a technical solution to the identified problem.

The workshop will go through the call guidance, followed by identifying which research areas have “problems” to address and discussing over expertise that could lead to a possible solution.
