Food GRP Research Networking Event
The Food GRP would like to invite you to a Research Networking Event on Monday 6 February 2023. This will involve a session of short talks on current research on a variety of topics linking with food and food systems, followed by an exploration of potential exchanges and collaborations. We would therefore welcome contributions in the form of informal max. 5 minute introductions from anyone who would like to share their research. The links to food and drink can be social, cultural, historic, systems, sustainability, justice, geographic to name but a few. This event is also an excellent opportunity for those who would like to learn more about the Food GRP, its current priority themes, events and partnerships as well as to find out more about funding opportunities (see below).
We welcome any university member - postgraduates, postdocs or academic staff from any faculty - who would like to attend all or part of the event. If possible, we would ask that when you register, you provide a short (max. 100-word) overview of your department / project / research area and it links with food and / or drink, however unusual, so we can best utilise the networking opportunities on your behalf.
The event will be held at Scarman on Monday 6 February 2023, 11am – 3pm, with lunch included. For further questions, and to register your attendance by Wednesday 1 February, please email: foodgrpteam@warwick.ac.uk.
