What do we fund?

We are able to offer funding to activities that fall under our themes. Activities can include:

• Conference fees
• Travel grants
• Invited guest lecturers
• External brokerage efforts: nominating for UKRI roles
• Support visiting fellowships
• Pump priming for external research bids: networking events, conference panels
• Events
• Impact work

Our research is interdisciplinary. We particularly encourage projects that are cross-departmental. Especially those that have a scope beyond the STEM base.

We also offer postgraduate researcher exchange funding. This is for collaborative projects. Your project should be up to three months.
