Behavioural Science Summit is the biggest student-run Behavioural Science conference in Europe, which has included prominent speakers, such as Nina Mazar, Jez Groom, Paul Adams and Andrew Oswald in past years. Please visit accordions below for more information about previous summits!

1. BSS 2022

Behavioural Science Summit 2022 - "Improving the quality of life using Behavioural Science" (24 March, 2022)

The summit featured speakers with expertise in how behavioural science is used in individual contexts to improve people’s mental and financial wellbeing as well as in a societal context to improve innovation, the environment and general wellbeing. Also, it featured new developments and different perspectives of individuals and organisations. It aims to foster an interdisciplinary platform for discussion and exchange of ideas on how Behavioural Science can be used to better the individual and society.

2. BSS 2021

Behavioural Science Summit 2021 - "Case Studies From Around The World" (15 March, 2021)

For the first time at WBIT, the global approach will bring you speakers from the five continents!

Is behavioural science applied in the same way around the world? Or maybe cultural differences influence how we should design interventions and what works well in different parts of the world?

In the Summit we covered these questions and other important topics in Behavioural Science such as ethical issues, applications of nudges and interventions in the private market, 3 million figures nudges and much more! Please click here to watch the full recording of the Summit!

3. BSS 2020

Behavioural Science Summit 2020 - "Behavioural Science x Technology" (5 June, 2020)

This was the first online BSS! In this Summit, we invited speakers and panels to talk about topics from Fintech and how it is changing the way we spend our money; how big data is affecting our models of human behaviour and AI and the singularity.

4. BSS 2019

Behavioural Science Summit 2019 - Behavioural Science x Health & Well-being (20 June 2019)

The summit included speakers with public health sector working experiences or those who specialise in both behavioural science and health policy design. The summit also featured speakers who are involved with technological and behavioural changes targeted at reducing biases that prevent individuals from taking care of their health.

5. BSS 2018

Behavioural Science Summit 2018 (15 June 2018)

The first Behavioural Science Summit was held at OC 0.03, The Oculus, The University of Warwick. This Summit featured speakers to discuss stimulating insights from cutting-edge behavioural research. This summit also featured leading practitioners in the field that share their experience of nudging in the real world, as well as the latest case studies from around the globe.
