As part of its National Infrastructure Delivery Plan 2016-2021, the Infrastructure and Ports Authority of the British Government has announced a £138 million collaboratorium for research in infrastructure and cities. According to the plan, this investment will connect multiple communities of researchers working in areas such as clean water supplies, transport, social interaction and waste management, to develop an integrated view of infrastructure needs, development and delivery.
