Sustainable Coventry and Warwickshire Symposium

Sustainable Coventry and Warwickshire Symposium

Monday 11 October 2021

Scarman Conference Centre, University of Warwick

This Symposium focuses on applying the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals to the environmental, social and cultural challenges and opportunities in Coventry and Warwickshire. It will also build upon the ambitions and values of Coventry City of Culture. This initial event is designed to catalyse the development of transformational programmes and knowledge exchange projects.

This is our inaugural event, and we will build upon it over the coming months to foster collaborative partnerships and open up dialogue on pressing issues of sustainability across the region.

The Symposium

The event unites leaders from the University’s Global Research Priorities (GRPs), the City Council, public sector organisations, the community sector, industry, and the cultural sector, as well as leaders from key regional bodies and agencies beyond Coventry and Warwickshire to address pressing sustainability challenges across a spectrum of areas.
