Introducing the Interdisciplinary Research Directory
The Interdisciplinary Research Directory is a tool to enhance our capacity for interdisciplinary research at Warwick. It provides a straightforward way to showcase your research and connect with colleagues across different disciplines and faculties, enabling more effective collaboration.
We hope the directory will support the development of large, diverse teams for complex interdisciplinary research projects, which funders like UKRI and others are increasingly interested in.
The directory is currently being populated with profiles submitted by colleagues through the interdisciplinary research survey we conducted last term.
Join the Directory
If you were unable to submit a profile through the survey, don't worry. You can still complete the form by clicking the button below, and we will add your profile to the directory as soon as possible.
Hosted by Warwick's Interdisciplinary Research Spotlights, a soft launch event was held on 26 February 2025 for Warwick's new Interdisciplinary Research Directory.
The launch provided an opportunity to gather feedback from our research community on desirable features.
Using this input, those features that could be implemented by our team of Warwick Computer Science undergraduates have now been added.
The Spotlights are a new initiative to support and showcase Warwick’s interdisciplinary research excellence. They aim to foster collaborative research across the University on six key challenges: Behaviour; Business, Manufacturing & Innovation; Digital; Health; Society & Culture; and Sustainability.
The Spotlight programme seeks to especially encourage and develop cross-faculty collaborations.
