On 28th November 2024, our Society & Culture and Sustainability Spotlights supported the Seeds of Hope and Action (SOHA) Exhibition, launched in the Faculty of Arts Building Atrium. Speakers included Justine Marchant (SGI-UK), Elena Korosteleva (IGSD, Sustainability Spotlight) and Mouzayian Khalil (PAIS, WICID), with a welcome from Vicki Squire (PAIS) and Emma Flynn (Provost).

Colleagues and students enjoyed dialogue over the panels, which use the “Learn, Reflect, Empower, Lead” formula outlined in Daisaku Ikeda’s proposal on education for sustainable developmentLink opens in a new window. Co-created by Soka Gakkai International and the Earth Charter International, the exhibition features panels serving as a catalyst for positive change and a platform to move communities towards a more sustainable future. The exhibition will be available for viewing in FAB until 12th December – please visit while you can!

Alongside the SOHA exhibition launch, IGSD also hosted a Climate Knowledge Production Café and a panel discussion followed by a writing workshop.
