Coventry Culture Shift Programme Workstreams

As the city looks to rebuild after Covid-19, the Coventry Culture Shift Programme is supporting local leaders in shaping the city's future, restoring its economy, levelling up and addressing inequalities revealed by the pandemic, whilst building on Coventry City of Culture's ambitions and values.

The programme consists of three workstreams:

• Workstream 1 – Future Cities-Design for Livability: Led by Professor Jon Coaffee, Professor of Urban Geography, Sustainable Cities GRP lead. ​

• Workstream 2a – Cultural Inequality and Workstream 2b – Cultural Leadership: Both led by Dr Jonathan Vickery, Director for the Centre for Cultural and Media Policy Studies.​

• Workstream 3 – Creative Education for Innovation: Led by Dr Chris Bilton and Dr Vishalakshi Roy, Centre for Cultural and Media Policy Studies and Productivity and the Future of Work GRP leads.​
