Make sure you are certain that you fully understand plagiarism and the basic conventions of referencing. Get it right at the beginning. Follow up this session with speaking to your subject specialist librarian who will advise of the specific referencing convention to your discipline area. Also attend a Copyright session; make sure you understand what you can and cannot use in your thesis, poster, presentations.
