If you have an Alliance Joint PhD Scholarship then you will receive a stipend, in line with the Australian government rate, into your UK bank account. The stipend will be converted into GBP using the date of your scholarship offer letter as the exchange rate.
The Monash stipend rate, per annum, for 2022 is $30,000 AUD.
The Alliance provides funding up to £2,000 to assist Alliance Joint PhD students, whose home institution is Warwick, with their travel to Monash. The funding can be used towards the cost of flights, transfers, visas and health insurance (if applicable). Similar funding is available from Monash for students whose home institution is Monash.
