Helpdesk:

The Helpdesk is staffed Mon-Sun from 08:00 - 20:00 and is located by the entrance of the Library.

  • We can help with questions about your Library Account, borrowing and renewing items; reserving an item (Click and Collect request) and much more
  • Get it For Me items are collected from the Helpdesk
  • We can help you find items in Library Search the Library's discovery catalogue
  • If you lose an item in the Library and it’s not in the lost property trug on Floor 1, Helpdesk staff will check if it has been handed in to us

Report Noise Disturbances

Did you know you can report noise disturbances to Library staff from your mobile phone? Simply text NOISE and the exact location of the disturbance, and a member of Library staff will be along to assist:

Need Help Overnight?
Ask a Librarian Is Here from 8pm–8am

If you need some extra support while our Helpdesk is closed, our Ask a Librarian service is available from 20:00 to 08:00. You’ll be connected with a real librarian who can offer reliable, knowledgeable help whenever you need it most. Just open the chat on our homepage during overnight hours to get started.
