Changes to parking tariffs from 1 September
Daily campus parking tariffs will be changing from 1 September. Discover more about the changes to tariffs for PGRs and for students.
Changes to how you connect to the internet on campus
From 30 July, we are changing how your devices connect to the internet on campus, to help keep everyone safer online. To access the internet on campus, you will need to check the DNS settings on your laptop and mobile devices. You can find step-by-step instructions here.
Central campus Post Office closes today
The central campus Post Office will be closed from today (Friday 25 July), alongside Rootes Grocery Store, for refurbishment as we launch a new Co-Op store in September. The nearest Post Office in the meantime is at Cannon Park.

A huge congratulations to the winners of the WATE (Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence), WAPTE (Warwick Awards for Personal Tutoring Excellence) and WAPCE (Warwick Awards for Public and Community Engagement) in 2025. The Awards recognise members of our community who have gone above and beyond in teaching excellence, public engagement, and personal tutoring.
Rootes Grocery Store is now closed
Rootes Grocery Store is now closed for a full refurbishment and will reopen as the University of Warwick's Co-op on Wednesday 24th September. A pop-up shop will be opening on Monday 28th July, this will be located in the SU building, opposite The Finery Barbers. The shop will sell a reduced range of basic supplies, including sandwiches, bread, milk, drinks, snacks, fruit, tea and coffee. You can read about the new Co-op store here.

Planned Downtime: Student Records System (SITS)
Please be aware that the Student Records System (SITS) will not be available from 4pm on Thursday 8th May to 5pm on Monday 12th May while we complete some essential maintenance.
Congratulations to Adam Hudson, winner of Coventry's Half Marathon
We'd like to wish a huge congratulations to Adam Hudson, an undergraduate Statistics student at Warwick, who claimed first place in Coventry's Half Marathon on Sunday 27 April. Hear from Adam, who completed the Half Marathon in an impressive 70 minutes and 22 seconds!
Be aware of charity donation scams
There have been recent reports of charity donation scams on campus by several members of our community. Sadly, fraudsters can take advantage of our generosity when giving to charity. Please be vigilant when invited to donate, use this advice to help protect yourself and report any concerns.
Holocaust Memorial Day
We are commemorating Holocaust Memorial Day with a series of events to honour the victims of the Holocaust and reflect on its enduring lessons. This year’s observance marks 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, a powerful reminder of the atrocities of the Holocaust.

Change to undergraduate home tuition fees in 2025/26
On 4 November, the UK Government announced an increase in the tuition fee cap, in line with inflation. The University of Warwick’s Executive Board has consequently confirmed a change in fees for undergraduate home students in 2025/26.

Spear Phishing alert and how to stay safe
Please be aware that members of our university community have recently received emails claiming to be from senior staff at Warwick, sent via a Gmail account. These emails are not legitimate and are an attempt at ‘spear-phishing’.
