Festival of Postgraduate Research 2024
Join the Doctoral College on Thursday 23rd May 2024 for the Festival of Postgraduate Research either in person at The Slate or online. The day will include interactive talks on topics such as 'Overcoming challenges during your PhD' and 'Finding joy in your research'. It will also include PGRs showcasing their own research either in 3-minute talks or in a range of traditional and non-traditional formats.

Due to wet weather conditions, the Windmill Hill: Picnic Playground will now be held indoors at the Ramphal Building. While the location and time have changed, the fun and excitement remain the same!

Join us for this highly enjoyable and interactive workshop that aims to help you develop your intercultural skills and competence. It offers practical advice about how to demonstrate your intercultural competence in an interview, as well as the chance to practice answering questions.

These walks will last for one hour and will focus on some of the energy projects on campus, such as the borehole site and Energy Centre. Domestic energy use will also be discussed. The walks will be led by the Energy Team. As well as learning about energy infrastructure and projects, they are a great opportunity to get outdoors and explore more of campus.
