Recently, the Centre for Lifelong Learning Team caught up with Taiwo Ogunrinde, former student of the Gateway to HE course who then progressed to a degree and is currently studying her second year of the full-time Social Studies Degree. Dr Christine Harrison travels to Engus, Nigeria for #PressforProgress, International Women's Day Event
One of CLL’s Associate Professors and member of the Centre for the Study of Safety and WellBeing (SWELL) will be travelling to Enuba, Nigeria for a conference organised to mark International Women’s Day on March 7, which aims to challenge domestic violence and abuse. Dr Christine Harrison, who has co-ordinated and taught child care and child protection social work for the last 25 years, will join other key speakers at the event organised by non-governmental women’s empowerment organisation, Power to Choose together with the Nchekwa Oha Advocay Foundation.
