- A Czech composer killed at Theresienstadt conentration camp
- Viktor Ullmann, Der Kaiser von Atlantis, Op. 49b: Komm, Tod, du unser weter Gast (Wassyl Slipak, Orchestre Musique des Lumieres)
- Ullman, another Czech composer, collaborated on this opera with librettist Peter Kien whilst interned at Auschwitz-Birkeneau where both died.
- Hans Krasa, Brundibar: Act 1: Das ist der Sepp, armer Leute Sohn (Vera Fliegauf, Nicole Bruck, Angelina Riberio)
- Krasa, who also died at Theresienstadt, composed an anti-Nazi children's opera whilst incarcerated.
