Faculty of Arts UG Module Fair 30th April
The Arts Faculty is holding an undergraduate elective choice module fair on Tuesday, 30th April 2024 from 13.00 – 16.00 in the FAB on the ground floor and on the mezzanine.
The fair is aimed at first year and second year UG students choosing their elective modules for the following year.
Representatives will be present from across our Arts departments and disciplines: Classics & Ancient History, Cultural Media Policy Studies, Design Studies, English & Comparative Literary Studies, Film & Television Studies, Global Sustainable Development, History, History of Art, Liberal Arts, Modern Languages and the Language Centre, Theatre and Performance Studies, Warwick Writing Programme.
Also present will be representatives from IATL, WIISP, Warwick Business School’s Gateway to Business, School of Law, SELCs – Teaching Education and Education Studies, Warwick Award, Student Opportunity plus the Arts Study Café and the Digital Arts and Humanities Lab.

The School for Cross-Faculty Studies hosts the Osun State University’s former Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Visiting Fellowship
The Global Sustainable Development department in the School for Cross-Faculty Studies has been awarded a visiting fellowship for Dr Anthony Kola-Olusanya of Osun State University (Nigeria) as part of the School's focus on interdisciplinary approaches to Global Sustainability.

SCFS host international ‘Nurturing Hope’ conference on Liberal Education, Democracy, and Designing Sustainable Futures
On 8th-9th May 2025, the Liberal Arts department and the School for Cross Faculty Studies ran an international conference titled ‘Nurturing Hope: Liberal Education, Democracy, and Designing Sustainable Futures,’ which aimed to demonstrate how even 2,000 years later, Liberal Arts education can still provide valuable critical tools for addressing modern-day problems from the very local (Warwick) to the global. The conference was planned as part of the University of Warwick’s 60th year anniversary celebrations and looks forward to the Liberal Arts department’s 10th year anniversary – which it will be entering in 2026.
