Members and non members are warmly encouraged to join us for this meeting to find out about some of the exciting research going on in Coventry. Postgraduate students from both University of Warwick and Coventry University have been invited to present and defend a poster about research they are undertaking in an area of computer science. Attendees will be asked to vote on the best entries and a small prize will be presented for the best entry from each university.

Notes for researchers:

You are invited to provide a poster about your research (size A1 or A2). This could be a poster you create especially for this event or one you have already made for some other purpose. Please contact the organisers if you need to arrange for your poster to be printed. Some funding is available on request. The research must be related to computer science and should be part of a PhD or Master’s programme. On the evening attendees will visit each researcher and their poster to find out more about the research. They will be asked to vote on the best poster for each university based on the information provided on the poster and by the researcher. A prize will be presented for the winning entry from each university. To register your poster and for further details, please send a brief summary (~100 words) about your research, together with the poster, to one of the organisers: Irene Glendinning (ireneg at coventry dot ac dot uk), Mike Joy (m dot s dot joy at warwick dot ac dot uk) or Margaret Low (m dot j dot low at warwick dot ac dot uk). The deadline is 14 March.
