Background

I am a first-year PhD student in Computer Science, under the Data Science, Systems and SecurityLink opens in a new window theme supervised by Professor Feng HaoLink opens in a new window. My PhD scholarship is funded by the Department of Computer Science, University of Warwick.

I hold a BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering from the Isfahan University of Technology.

Before joining the University of Warwick, I worked as a researcher and head of the education and awareness group in APA-IUTCERT, an academic CERT of the Isfahan University of Technology(IUT).

I am currently involved in research and analysis of the challenges of Decentralized Finance (DeFi).

Research

My current research is focused on ordering challenges in blockchain and Decentralized Finance (DeFi). As a fast-growing financial ecosystem powered by blockchain technology, DeFi is particularly vulnerable to order manipulation attacks and maximum (miner) extractable value (MEV). We plan to eliminate or limit order manipulation and MEV extraction by designing a new transaction fee mechanism that considers orders.
