PhD Opportunities in AI & ML Systems

We are seeking outstanding PhD candidates in the area of AI & ML Systems and related fields, with particular emphasis on one or more of: Scalable, Efficient and Forgetful AI; Language, Generative and Multimodal Models; Graph, Streaming and Spatio-temporal Learning; Human-Centered, Ethical and Trustworthy AI; Vision, Signal and Multimedia Systems; Machine Learning for Human Behaviour, Health and Ubiquitous Systems; Distributed and Federated ML Systems; and Cyber-Physical Systems and Embodied AI.

The department has a strong reputation for AI and ML research, and the successful applicant(s) will join a dynamic and collaborative research environment, working with leading experts in AI/ML, and have the opportunities to publish in top-tier venues across AI, ML, and systems research.
