This is the Teaching Announcements page for the Department of Computer Science. Any changes to the DCS timetable, lectures or seminar arrangements will be published to this page so you should check it regularly.
The nominations for the Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence (WATE), Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence for Postgraduates who Teach (WATE PGR) and the Warwick Awards for Personal Tutoring Excellence (WAPTE) are now open. The WATE and WATE PGR aim to recognise academic staff and PGR (postgraduate research) students who have made a difference to the student learning experience through their work and their teaching practice. The WAPTE recognises staff who have made an outstanding contribution to the support of students through the personal tutoring system.
To nominate a member of academic staff or a postgraduate research student for one of the above awards, please visit the WATE website. The deadline for nominations is Monday 15th March 2021.
Access to teaching spaces in DCS
For the health and safety of all students, staff and visitors to the department and the strict limits on building capacity, it is regrettable that it is currently not possible to offer ad-hoc (drop-in, casual, individual) access to lab rooms and teaching rooms. Rooms CS0.01, CS0.03, CS0.06, MB3.17, MB0.01, CS1.04 and CS1.01 are to be used for timetabled sessions only. This situation will continue to be monitored in line in line with government guidance on social distancing and other protective measures in response to Coronavirus.
Notifications on My.Warwick App
Please do not disable notifications on the my.Warwick app as this will be the primary method of notifying students of any changes to the timetable and/or module delivery.
