Third Year Computer Science MEng 2024/25

The normal load is 120 CATS credits. Candidates are required to take two core modules totalling 45 CATS credits and 75 CATS credits selected from the lists of optional modules below, at least 60 CATS credits of which must be selected from option list A. Students may take up to 30 CATS of unusual options.

Progression to the final year of the MEng requires an honours classification in the third year. Students who fail to achieve this will be assessed for a BSc Computer Science.

Candidates may spend the third year at a university in another country with which the University has a formal exchange agreement and which offers modules taught in English. Candidates must take modules to a total of 60 ECTS points and/or such modules as the Department may designate from time to time.

Candidates who fail to pass the year abroad will normally take the final year of the BSc Computer Science course on their return to Warwick, in order to obtain a BSc (Hons) degree.

Optional module availability is subject to change.
