Meeting Breaks
Coffees, tea, water and snacks will be provided in session breaks during the meeting.
Lunch
Lunches will be included on the first day: a buffet lunch at RadcliffeLink opens in a new window (a Warwick Conferences food venue on-campus). Lunch on the second day is not provided, but can be obtained from a variety of nearby options (see Options on or near campus).
Evening meal
There is no formal conference dinner arranged for the meeting. There are options on campus, or in nearby Coventry and Kenilworth and Leamington Spa, which host a wide range of pubs and restaurants.
A form will be sent to all those who register to determine their preferences from the below options.
- The Panda MamiLink opens in a new window buffet restaurant at the Warwick campus Arts centre, serving East Asian food.
- Taking one of the regular bus services from campus to Regent CourtLink opens in a new window, Leamington Spa. The journey is approximately 30 minutes, and there is a high density of restaurants to choose from both in and around Regent Court, all within a few minutes walk. Members of the local organising committee will travel and assist with directions.
- Attendees are free to make their own arrangements elsewhere and we can provide alternative options both on- and off-campus.
Options on or near campus
There are a number of Food outlets surrounding the meeting location on campus, in addition to Cannon Park Shopping Centre (with a Tesco and several food outlets) being just a short walk off-campus. Eatwise Kitchen offers freshly-made hot sandwiches, salads, and a daily soup and stew. Lots of seating space in University house.
Nexus Cafe offers a plated hot food menu and packaged sandwiches/hot savoury food. Large amount of seating indoor and out.
Loaf & Co offer freshly made sandwiches and pastries although queues times may get quite long.
Caffe Nero has its usual offerings. Lots of seating space in the atrium of the Faculty of Arts building and in the surrounding outdoor space.
All serve coffee, teas and cold drinks.
