Lorraine Johnson won the postgraduate student 2015 poster presentation competition
Postgraduate students from across the University of Warwick were offered the opportunity to practice disseminating their research to a non-specialist audience through a poster and presentation exercise. The Social Science Faculty Prize went to Lorraine Johnson a postgraduate student at the Institute for Employment Research. Her research focuses on the nature of career support available to professional women aged fifty to state pension age navigating the labour market.
Applications invited for two ESRC studentships to start October 2014
The Institute for Employment Research is offering two fully-funded PhD Studentships in association with the ESRC-funded project: Precarious pathways to employment for young people? Unpaid, temporary and involuntary part-time work in transitions from education to employment. The closing date for applications is Friday 5th September 2014.
