Latest IER Bulletin (No.90) published
This newest IER Bulletin, entitled 'Navigating the labour market and the role of careers guidance', presents interim findings from a five year longitudinal qualitative study researching the nature of effective guidance. The evidence presented is from year four of the study and follows on from previous Bulletins (No. 78, 84 and 87). This study is just one of many careers guidance and learning projects that have been undertaken by IER or that are currently in progress.
International Associate Fellows visit IER
Professor Mark Watson (Nelson Mandela University, South Africa) and Dr. Mary McMahon (Queensland University, Australia), two of IER’s international Associate Fellows, both linked to the careers and learning area will be visting IER from 16-20 March.
Seminar 'Storytelling across the lifespan of career development', 17 March 2009
Professor Mark Watson (Nelson Mandela University, South Africa) and Dr. Mary McMahon (Queensland University, Australia), two of IER’s international Associate Fellows, both linked to the careers and learning area are visiting the University in March 2009.
They will be presenting at an IER seminar entitled ‘Storytelling across the lifespan of career development’ on 17 March 12.30pm – 2pm. Venue to be confirmed.
