How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Health GRP Response to the Covid-19 Pandemic
University of Warwick, Webinar

The COVID-19 pandemic has seen an unprecedented mobilisation of science across the world. The Warwick Health GRP has been able to rapidly respond to the challenge by using its multidisciplinary expertise to support a wide range of projects and activities. This webinar will showcase two areas where members of the GRP are contributing to different aspects of the COVID-19 research – the psychological impact of the pandemic students and the analysis of UK mortality statistics. But it has also been ‘business as usual’ for the GRP in pursuing activities across our six priority research themes. So will also hear about work on screening for oral cancer in India, one of the research areas supported by our Global Health theme. We hope that you can join us for a stimulating webinar and an opportunity to engage with our researchers.

Warwick’s Annual SDG Report – Launch event with introduction from the Provost

12noon, Friday 25th September

As a world leading research institution, Warwick understands its role in tackling the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) spanning research impact, education, responsible operations and public engagement. In 2019, the University declared a Climate Emergency; integrating and providing a critical contribution to SDG’s forms part of our ambitious plans and goals to reach net zero carbon and build a strong society. As part of its monitoring processes, Warwick has decided to publish an annual report on its progress towards the SDGs. It introduces a number of case studies on some of the initiatives that are contributing towards the SDGs.

Join us for the launch of the report on 25th September at 12 noon. The Provost will introduce the report before handing over to members of the group who have been involved in its production to expand on some of its key areas. There will be plenty of time for discussion, and our hope with this event is that it will offer an opportunity for the Warwick community to reflect on the progress to date and contribute to a discussion on what might come next. The report has been overseen by a working group that is keen to promote further engagement from the academic community and inviting a broad and inclusive range of stakeholders to start a conversation.
