We are delighted to be hosting six Portfolio Managers from EPSRC with interests across the physical sciences and advanced materials who will be visiting the University on Monday 27 June. As part of the visit they will be offering two talks in parallel for academics and researchers with interests that fall within the EPSRC remit. This will be followed by a tea/coffee break for all attendees.

Talk 1: Early Career Researchers

This talk will give an overview of EPSRC, explain how to navigate the website, and will include a section on Fellowships and New Investigator Awards.

Talk 2: Experienced Researchers

This talk will be aimed at more experienced researchers who have interacted with EPSRC before, and is set to include details of the recent strategy and budget allocations, the introduction of narrative CVs, including ED&I in proposals, and the CDT call.

On June 27 the Science|Business Future-Proofing Medicines initiative will convene the first in a series of expert dialogues to explore how EU medicines legislation can anticipate and accommodate future breakthroughs in medical science, data science and digitech.
