The Warwick Impact Capture System (WICS) is the central repository for the university's REF Impact Case Studies and their evidence. Evidence could include testimonies from external partners, policy citations, or links to media coverage.

Accessing and Using WICS:

• Access to WICS needs to be set up on request – contact the Impact Team in R&IS on research_impact@warwick.ac.uk to arrange this.
• Once your access has been set up, you can log in here https://impact.warwick.ac.ukLink opens in a new window using your university username and password.
• Please refer to the user guides available on this web page for further information about navigating the platform. The system should work on any browser but if you experience any issues, then the preferred browser is Chrome.
• By default, the system will time out after 40 minutes. If you are likely to use the system for any length time, then this setting can be updated here: https://impact.warwick.ac.uk/-/profile/me/preferences/ - just set the ‘Keep me logged in to my.wbs’ option to YES.
