How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

This workshop aims to provide you with an overview of a range of methodological and analytical skills, which you can apply in different research contexts. During the workshop, we will cover how the data are described, introduce a range of the most used statistical tests and cover some statistical packages that can be used to analyse these data. (Signpost to IT session for learning more how to use these).

NSC Post PhD - What is academia like and should I stay in it?

Are you planning on staying in academia? Want to know what it's really like?

Then four colleagues from across Warwick and externally, in different disciplines and at different stages of their careers, will share their stories and views on what it is REALLY like to be an academic .
There is an opportunity for a Q&A throughout the presentations and during the networking coffee break afterwards. 11.30-12.00
This is an in person session held with the Research Exchange. All appropriate Covid regulations will be followed.

NSC What can I expect from a Postdoc ( and how can I get one)?

Following on from this morning's session on staying in academia, this is an opportunity to hear from 6 Postdocs working around the world.

They will talk about their experiences of being a Postdoc, the realities of finding a place and most importantly what they wished they had done during their PhD to help them get a Postdoc role.
The presentations will include a Q&A and include an opportunity to network with colleagues over lunch (13.30-14.00)
