We need to read and digest a vast amount of data and information. How can we do that effectively and efficiently? We need to read quickly but we need to take effective and consistent notes. This session will take you through 40 minutes of guided speed reading. Following a small break we will have a session on note taking effectively; a necessary combination.

These sessions will cover best practice for delivering any presentation online but will encourage you to think about the internal 3MT competition in March and possibly the international competition in July. You do not have to be entering the 3MT competition to come to this session.

Using surveys and questionnaires in your research?

Qualtrics is an easy-to-use service that allows you to develop, deploy, and analyse surveys via the Web. No complicated set-up or technical knowledge is required. Qualtrics allows you to create unlimited numbers of surveys for unlimited respondents.

This workshop will be held across two different sessions. This second session will look at the different methods of distribution, view and export responses and the different analysis and reporting tools available.
