SPAIN - Barcelona International Summer School 2024
The Barcelona International Summer School is UPF’s in-person flagship summer program for 2nd, 3rd, 4th year undergraduates where academic excellence meets cross-disciplinary exploration in the heart of Barcelona.
Choose from a list of 35 courses offered in English or Spanish and taught by an interdisciplinary faculty of renowned academics.
Our modules vary in duration and intensity, allowing for flexible combinations spanning one to four weeks.
Social activities are also included in the tuition fees.

GOTOCO - The go-to for free and funded global adventures in TEFL - Teaching
Our programmes are an adventure into the world of TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), where participants will broaden their cultural perspective through an immersive environment; gain valuable teaching experience; and earn a qualification so participants can continue to travel and teach! Join us this summer for 4 to 8 weeks of fulfilling, development-focussed and fun-packed teaching placements in Europe or China!
The programme includes:
- earning a TEFL certificate that you can use to work abroad in future
- gaining global work experience teaching at summer camps across Europe or China
- developing employability skills
- immersing yourself in a different culture
- meeting like-minded people
Additionally, if you join placements in Europe, we encourage applicants to interrail and experience even more along the way!

Turing funding available for programmes of 4 weeks+ through WarwickLink opens in a new window
Summer 2024 fashion program at Universidad Villanueva - Madrid
This year the 11th edition of the program is called Spanish Fashion Business & Creativity
and it runs from June 26th to July 10th 2024.
The course is worth 5 ECTS (credits), and will take place in the campus in the north of Madrid, SPAIN.

Early-bird program fee approx £704.87 until April 16th 2024
Late program fee approx £782.24 from April 18th 2024 onwards
The Program is 100% in English, and oriented towards international students wishing to have an immersion into the Spanish Fashion industry in Madrid, through classes and direct experience visiting fashion companies, factory visits and retail routes to fashion brands.
Students also have to complete a Final Project in groups to obtain the Final Certificate of attendance.
Since its first edition in 2012, more than 250 international students have attended from countries such as South Korea, Singapore, Poland, Germany, Venezuela, Scotland, Mexico, France, Kazakhstan among other nationalities.
