The main Library is located at the heart of central campus and everyone is welcome. Spread over 5 floors, it provides:
- Over 1 million books and print materials – Find out more about using the collection
- Noise zones – The Library is zoned into silent, quiet and collaborative areas to support everyone
- Accessible Study Rooms – These bookable rooms are open to students registered with disability services
- Breathing Space – This relaxation room is a place for quiet reflection and a break from study
- A place to refresh and refocus on your own self, you can take a breath in a tranquil setting without having to leave the building
- Some of the Library’s Library community events supporting wellbeing will also take place here, and it will also house some of the Library’s leisure reading collection
- Co-creation space – A space where students can work in partnership with academic colleagues, professional services and each other to co-create their educational experience
- Available for student use outside of bookings
- Study Lounge – You will find this space tucked behind the Welcome Point on the first floor of the Library
- You may take cold food, hot drinks, and your work into this area
- Use the comfy seats and enjoy the view of Library Road
- This is a collaborative zone, but please moderate your noise levels
- Lib 1 - This area is found on the ground floor near Café Library and is a dedicated study space
- Please note: it is currently undergoing refurbishment to enhance and improve the student study space and will be open for the start of Welcome Week
- Wolfson Research Exchange - is located in the Library on the Floor 3
