This text, from Jonathan Safran Foer's novel Everything Is Illuminated, should be translated as a group task in term 1.

Groups should include native speakers of both English and Italian.

Agreed versions of the translation must be sent by e.mail to Loredana by Friday 23rd November 2012 and will be discussed in class the following week.

Please add to your text a short commentary (one page) explaining:

- what the major problems were

- what strategies you used, as a group, to solve these issues

- anything you are still unhappy with!
