Computing for Teachers MOOC
We are currently investigating ways of making the materials available in a more flexible way which will allow you either to follow the whole course or to dip in to topics you want to know about. One of our PhD students is developing a prototype. If you would like to be involved with trying out the materials in a new format, please follow this link to register: http://eldamooc.org/ The materials are the same as for the MOOC, but in a different format and we'd very much appreciate your help in trying it out.
This free online computer science course is aimed at teachers preparing to deliver the new computing curriculum. It will prepare you with the necessary subject knowledge and programming skills to be confident in teaching computing up to GCSE. The course provides in-depth coverage across 3 areas:

- Programming in Python
- How to teach the concepts
Course content will be mapped to the subject knowledge requirements for entry into computer science teacher training. The course has received support from Google, BCS and Computing At School. It is aimed at teachers working with KS3 & KS4.
