Self funding
Applications are welcome from those able to support themselves or with funding already arranged. Such applications will go through the same level of academic assessment.
Please see the universities fee arrangements for PGR students.
Teaching
Teaching is an excellent personal development opportunity. We encourage our PGR students to engage in teaching in the department (e.g., seminars, labs, marking). Depending on individual funding and visa requirements, such work is paid under the Postgrad Teaching framework (GTA contracts). While the paid amount alone is not enough to fully fund your education or living costs, it is a useful supplement in addition to any other sources of funding you receive.
