Business engagement to improve graduate skills utilisation

At the start of 2018, Daria Luchinskaya participated in a programme aimed to get researchers involved with businesses (Warwick Venture Into Business Engagement (VIBE)). The programme is funded by ESRC to help researchers to respond to the changing landscape of research funding that increasingly includes collaborating with business to solve some of society's biggest issues. Through VIBE and as part of her work on graduate employment and skill utilisation, Daria gave a short presentation on graduate skill utilisation at the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Briefing in February 2018. She also met with Barbara Hankins of Catalyst for Change, a consultancy that, among other aims, helps firms make use of their existing resources, including skill utilisation.
