Warwick announces new £10 million Warwick Scholars programme for up to 500 Midlands young people each year
The University of Warwick will announce today (Tuesday 14th May 2019) a transformational new £10 million social mobility programme - Warwick Scholars - that aims to change the lives of hundreds of Midlands young people who have the potential to study at Warwick, one of the world’s top 100 ranked universities, but who may face social or economic barriers to entering Warwick. The new programme includes admissions offers up to 4 grades below Warwick’s standard A level offer.
University of Warwick to host International Conference of Women Engineers and Scientists in 2020
The University of Warwick has won the bid to plan, organise and host the 18th International Conference of Women Engineers and Scientists (ICWES18) for 2020. Previously held at Warwick (ICWES9) in 1991, ICWES18 returns at Warwick on 11-14 September 2020.

High-resolution scanning helps secure guilty verdict against child’s mother
Researchers from WMG at The University of Warwick, have used a high resolution X-ray (micro-CT) scanner, a novel 3D imaging technology more commonly employed in industry and materials research, to scan 9 week old Teri-Rae’s rib cage. The images were then used to support a bone specialists expert testimony, and securing a guilty verdict for the child’s mother
