New Spectrometer

The spectroscopy RTP was pleased to take delivery of a new FT-IR microscope, a Nicolet iN10. The new system offers MIR mapping in the spectral range 400 - 4000 cm-1, and is capable of both transmission and reflection modes. In addition to this we have the option of a The germanium Micro-Tip ATR accessory for increased spatial resolution.  The Microscope is equipped three detectors, including a cooled MCT-A and an cooled array detector for fast mapping. We will also have improved data processing facilities using Omnic software that includes reference libraries in the lab and all users will have access to ThermoFishers Omnic-Anywhere processing software.

We will be accepting training requests on the new spectrometer once we are able to. If you have any questions or wish to discuss and future experiment, please contact spectrscopy@warwick.ac.uk.
