Options for CLL students
Graduates go on to a broad range of paths after they graduate with a Centre for Lifelong Learning degree, perhaps reflecting the broad spectrum of interests and careers they had before and during the degree. Recent CLL graduates have worked in a range of different settings such as recruitment, teaching, local government, the health service, social services, the prison service, accountancy, charity organisations and the media.
Many graduates are interested in areas where they need to gain experience or do further training to develop their careers. Postgraduate study is always a popular choice: this could be a Master's related to the undergraduate degree or a vocational course linked to career goals such as a law conversion course, a Master's in social work, initial teacher training or a journalism diploma.
Diversity
CLL students come from a range of backgrounds and as a result will have very varied needs. Your background is an important part of who you are and can impact on your career planning.
Student Careers & Skills is committed to supporting you as an individual and information about various diversity issues can be found on our Diversity webpage.
