SJTU-Warwick Joint PhD Programme (Warwick)
The Joint PhD Programme accepts both self-funding and sponsored students. For 2025/26, Warwick will award up to 3 scholarships for this programme to the most outstanding PhD applicants.
The Programme offers an opportunity to obtain two world-class universities' PhD awards with a single thesis examination. Guided throughout by a supervisor at each university, you will follow a four-year programme with at least one year spent at the Host Institution. You will benefit from experiencing research within two different national contexts, providing you with an enhanced network of collaborators which will stand you in good stead for a career as an international researcher.
Course Application Deadline - 28 November 2024 (23:59 GMT)
Which University should I apply to?
The decision as to which institution will be the Home Institution will take into consideration such matters as resources, your own preference, and your fee status. If expected/liable to pay home fees at one of the institutions, you would be expected to select that institution as Home.
