Wellbeing Masterclass- Managing ChangeWe recognise that in the current climate lots of us will have had to deal with unexpected and, at times, unwanted changes. Our expectations of this academic year will likely have been different to the current reality. However, there are still positives steps we can take to help manage this change and look after ourselves in the process, and there are still lots of opportunities available to make the most of. The Managing Change Masterclass provides a brief overview of these strategies and the steps you can take to make the most of your time whilst looking after your wellbeing. How to take part
You will join the session through Microsoft Teams, which means you will be able to see who else is taking part. You are not expected to share any personal details, but others may, and you are expected to treat the session as a confidential space. The sessions will not be recorded, and you are not allowed to record them yourself. |

PGR mental health and wellbeing: peer-support session-TMicrosoft TeamsThis event has been organised by Researcher Development. For any enquiries please contact pgresearchskills@warwick.ac.uk.
This session aims to help you understand the pressures that PGRs face during their postgraduate education and the risks that these pressures pose to their mental health and wellbeing. This session will also provide you with information on how you can support PGR mental health and wellbeing and understand the difference between urgent and non-urgent mental health. You will also have an opportunity to share your experiences with other PGRs and learn about what available support exists at the university level and beyond. In addition, this session will encourage you to think about your mental health and wellbeing. By the end of the session, you will be able to recognise signs of mild, moderate and severe student mental health difficulties, when a student is at risk or experiencing a mental health crisis, and what steps you can do to help and support PGRs around you. It is crucial to remember that mental health crises can be avoided and prevented through early intervention. |
